RV Campgrounds Near Edgewood, New Mexico
Edgewood, New Mexico, is a small community east of Albuquerque, the state's largest city. Visitors to the Edgewood area can explore mesas and canyons, hike the trails or experience the mountain bike trails at Sandia Peak. Skiers can enjoy their sport by driving north to Santa Fe or Taos. RV travelers have several options for campgrounds and parks in the region.

El Rancho RV and Mobile Home Park

El Rancho RV and Mobile Home Park offers daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal rates. There are many guests who stay for a full season, making the park feel a bit like a small community. Those just passing through can choose from back-in or pull-through sites. Hookups include water, sewer, and 30- or 50-amp electric. Pets are allowed if leashed. There are showers, bathrooms, a coin-operated laundry and a dump station for guest use. Sandia Peak is within a 15 minute drive, and guests can hike Sandia Peak's many trails. Mountain bikers can ride the dedicated singletrack trails at the mountain.

Hidden Valley Resort

Hidden Valley Resort has RV sites for rigs up to 45 feet long. There are water, sewer, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and 30- or 50-amp connections at each site. Pets are allowed if leashed. Bathrooms, showers, a dump station, barbecue grills, and laundry facilities are on the premises for guest use. The Manzano Mountains are within 15 minutes of the campground. Guests can hike, backpack and mountain bike in the Manzanos. Sandia Peak is within a 15 minute drive. Former Native American Pueblos are north of the city, and visitors can tour the old buildings and ruins.

Albuquerque Central KOA

The Albuquerque Central KOA has sites for RVs up to 80 feet in length. Site hookups include water, sewer, Wi-Fi, cable TV and 30- or 50-amp electric. Guests have access to picnicking facilities, a coin-operated laundry room, playgrounds, barbecue stations, showers and private toilets. Pets are welcome if leashed and there is a dog play area where four legged visitors can play off-leash. Good Sam and AAA travel club rates are offered to members. Petroglyph National Monument is within an hour's drive. Visitors to the national monument can hike and tour the ruins and remains of early American communities and buildings. There are ranger-led interpretive hikes at the monument.
