Perry, Florida Campgrounds
Perry is located in Taylor County, Florida and is surrounded by scenic coast line, rivers and wood lands. Fishing is a popular activity as the area abounds with trout, redfish, bass and bream. Hiking, boating and wildlife viewing also are available in Perry. Outdoor enthusiasts can set up camp at the many campgrounds available in the area.

Perry KOA

This KOA campground accommodates tent sites, RV sites and cabins. Many amenities are in the camp including a heated swimming pool, wireless Internet access, pavilion, hot tub, bike rentals, horseshoes and a basketball court. RV sites include full hookups with 50-amp service. For a day trip of less than two hours away, campers can venture out to Itchetucknee Springs for activities like tubing, snorkeling, scuba diving and canoeing. There is also wildlife viewing for great blue herons, white-tailed deer, raccoons, wild turkeys and wood ducks.

Rocky's Campground

Rocky's campground has a convenience store that offers hunting, fishing and camping supplies. The camp offers tent sites and RV sites. Amenities include full hookups, 20/30/50-amp service, laundry facilities, bathhouse, picnic tables and fire rings. Fishing and hunting are the main activities on camp. Local attractions include the Hickory Mound Impoundment and Hampton Springs & Spring Creek where there is abundant fishing, hunting, scalloping, crabbing, bird-watching and hiking. At the Hickory Mound Impoundment, wildlife viewers can expect to see American swallow-tailed and Mississippi kites, bald eagles, alligators, wading birds and ospreys.

Nafee Campground

Nafee campground offers tent sites and RV sites with amenities like water and electric hookups, full hookups, laundry facilities, wireless Internet access and cable TV. There is a convenience store right on-site. Campers can visit Econfina River State Park about half an hour away to explore nine miles of scenic, wooded trails by foot, bicycle or horseback. Boating, kayaking and canoeing also are available.
