The Hocking Hills region is located within Hocking County in southeastern Ohio. The area is known for its caves, waterfalls, hiking trails and wildlife viewing. The Hocking River and its creeks and streams flow through a region offering great opportunities for fishing, swimming, kayaking and tubing. Travelers often enjoy Logan, Gibisonville, Bloomingville and Laurel and Benton Townships with their scenic and historic settlements, local boutiques, antique shops and restaurants. Hocking Hills State Park

The 2,356-acre Hocking Hills State Park is known for its natural caves created by Blackhand sandstone and shale deposited more than 350 million years ago. Uplift and erosion created the scenic areas of the Hocking Hills State Park. Visitors typically enjoy the park's nine hiking trails through gorges and caves, two mountain bike trails, fishing in Rose Lake, swimming, an archery range and ice fishing during the winter season. The onsite campground offers 156 sites with 20-, 30- or 50-amp full hookups and can accommodate RVs up to 50 feet. There are flush toilets, heated showers, laundry facilities, playgrounds and a camp store. 30 walk-in sites with latrine toilets and 13 non-electric sites are also available.

Hocking River RV Park

Nestled along the Hocking River, Hocking River RV Park has 29 sites with water and electric. It features sites with a fire ring and a river view and a dump station. Visitors can enjoy exploring nearby caves at Hocking Hills State Park or swimming, tubing, fishing or kayaking on the Hocking River.

Logan / Hocking Hills KOA

Located just three miles from Hocking Hills State Park, the Logan / Hocking Hills KOA has RV sites with 30- or 50-amp full hookups capable of accommodating RVs up to 80 feet. It features restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi Internet, a large game room, playground, a seasonal swimming pool and welcomes pets. Visiting Old Man's Cave, horseback riding, canoeing, Canopy Tours zipline, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway and hiking are popular activities. Cabin rentals and tent sites are also available.
