Lytle, Texas, is a small town southwest of San Antonio, home to a number of small parks and outdoor sports facilities. Each of the area RV parks provides a home base close to large outdoor recreation attractions such as Medina Lake and Mitchell Lake and the parks of San Antonio.

Admiralty RV Resort

Admiralty is 21 miles north of Lytle, on the outskirts of San Antonio. The park has a quiet, country atmosphere and is filled with greenery. Full hookup sites, pull-through sites and 50-amp electric are available. Cable TV service and free Wi-Fi Internet access are provided and phone service is available. Each site includes a concrete pad and table. Propane is sold on site. The park grounds feature a heated pool and Jacuzzi, basketball court, exercise room and two pet areas. For more activities, a free shuttle service carries guests to Sea World, and Medina Lake is 18 miles from the RV park. Bandera County Park on Medina Lake offers a boat ramp and swimming area. Scuba diving is also a popular sport at the lake because of the clarity of the water.

A Country Breeze RV Park

A Country Breeze is 5 miles east of Lytle and provides large sites, each with a patio and concrete pad. The full hookups include 30- or 50-amp service. Wi-Fi, satellite TV and propane are available. While the park does not have much in the way of outdoor activities, guests can head east 12 miles to Mitchell Lake, where hiking trails lead visitors through several types of bird habitat, offering excellent opportunities to observe various species. The park attracts visitors from around the world because of migratory populations and the number of species on view.

Hidden Valley RV Park

Hidden Valley RV Park is situated on Medino Creek and offers shady sites, 13 miles northeast of Lytle. Open all year, the park has 30 sites, a dump station and Wi-Fi service. Pull-through and back-in slots are available and full hookups include 30- or 50-amp electric. The staff has extensive knowledge of area attractions to share. Guests can hike along the creekside trails and are welcome to bring along their pets. Pearsall Park, 4 miles north, has a large dog park where dogs are allowed off their leashes to run and play, a short hiking trail and a disc golf course designed by a professional player. Miller's Pond Park is only blocks away and offers paved trails for hiking and biking.
