Sacramento, in northern California, has something to offer nearly everyone who visits, from a water park to casinos and a wide variety of restaurants, nightclubs and shopping centers. Outdoors enthusiasts will also stay busy kayaking on the Sacramento River or exploring the city's 23-mile bike trail, which travels from Old Sacramento to Folsom Reservoir.

Cal Expo RV Park

The Cal Expo RV Park is located in Sacramento and has more than 200 sites, including 90 pull-through sites. Water, 30- and 50-amp electric, and sewage hookups are located at each site, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park. Park amenities include restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, horseshoe pit, picnic area and a dog run. The American River Parkway is found at the southern edge of the RV park. The parkway travels along the American River from the Sacramento River to Folsom Reservoir.

Old Town KOA

The KOA campground in West Sacramento has pull-through RV sites large enough to accommodate vehicles up to 90 feet long. Sites include water, sewage and 50-amp electric hookups as well as free cable TV, telephone service and wireless Internet access. This club has an outdoor swimming pool open seasonally from approximately mid-May to late September and a fishing pond. Park facilities include restrooms, showers and a propane fill station. Bicycles and pedal boats are available for rent from the main office during your stay.

Ko-Ket Resort

Ko-Ket Resort features tent and RV campsites along the Sacramento River with 30-amp electric, water and sewage hookups. This park is located approximately 20 miles south of Sacramento near the California Delta. Park amenities include restrooms and showers, wireless Internet access, snack bar, convenience store, boat dock, and a launch ramp. Guests can enjoy fishing, tubing or swimming on the Sacramento River from the park or drive a few miles to explore the thousands of miles of waterways found in the California Delta.
