RV Parks at Watson Lake in Canada
Watson Lake is located on the British Columbia/Yukon border. It is a town nicknamed "the gateway to the Yukon." If you are traveling by RV, you will find numerous RV parks along the Alaska Highway, close to Watson Lake and activities such as fishing and hiking. Be sure to also stop in at the Northern Lights Space and Science Center to learn more about the the aurora borealis phenomenon, which can be visible from Watson Lake.

Baby Nugget RV Park

The Baby Nugget RV Park is located in Nugget City next to Watson Lake. The park has 89 sites, all of which have water and electrical hookups at 15/30 amps. For an additional fee, 50-amp service is also available.

The Wolf it Down restaurant and bakery, which features buffalo steaks, is a popular spot for guests. In addition, the park has laundry facilities, showers for a fee and a dump station. Other amenities include a pavilion and Wi-Fi Internet access. The park is open from Mid-May to Mid-September. Pets are welcome at Baby Nugget RV Park as long as they are kept on a leash. The park is just a 20-minute drive away from Watson Lake. Activities available around the lake include hiking and lake fishing.

Downtown RV Park

As the name suggests, the Downtown RV Park is located within downtown Watson Lake. The park has 78 sites, all with full hookups; the electrical service is 20/30 amps. Other amenities include 27 pull-throughs, laundry facilities and picnic tables. The Downtown RV Park is open from Mid-April to Mid-October. Pets are also welcome at the Downtown RV Park, but should be kept on a leash at all times. The Downtown RV Park is located just a short distance away from Wye Lake Park which is a 26-hectare park. You can paddle on the lake or take the 2.5 km loop trail around the lake.

Rancheria Motel

The Rancheria Motel is located just a little further along the Alaska Highway, close to the Rancheria Falls recreation site. The park has 43 sites, of which 16 have electrical hookups (30 amps). In addition there are six pull-throughs, dump station and laundry facilities. The park is open year round, but only on a limited basis between Mid October until April 30. Pets are welcome at the Rancheria Motel as long as they are on a leash. Activities around Rancheria Motel include hiking and fishing at Rancheria River.
