RV Parks in Granger Lake, Texas
Granger Lake is located northeast of Austin, in the Texas Hill Country. Several small parks ring the lake. While they all offer access to the water, each provides an individual set of amenities and a slightly different camping experience.

Taylor Park

Taylor Park provides 48 back-in sites with 20- and 30- amp electric service and water hookups. There is room for outdoor cooking and dining as each spot comes equipped with a picnic table, fire ring and grill. Double sites are available, but contain only one set of hookups. An asphalt camp pad provides 54-by-12 feet of parking space at each site. Guests of this park will have access to restroom facilities with flush toilets and hot water for showers. Use of the park includes a boat ramp and dock for boating or water-skiing on Granger Lake. The park has both a hiking trail and a bike trail. A playground is provided for kids and lake swimming is allowed. Sitting at the south end of Granger Lake, this is a good spot for viewing both wildlife and birds of the area. Campers at Taylor Park do not have to be off of the Comanche Bluff Hiking Trail at dark. With the loop near Taylor Park, the trail offers more than 6 miles of hiking along the lake shore.

Wilson H. Fox Park

Wilson H. Fox Park is located on the east side of Granger Lake. This park provides 58 sites, back-in only. The sites offer 30- and 50-amp electric service and water hookups. Guests can expect to find a picnic table, grill and fire ring for each site and a 54-by-12-foot asphalt camp pad. Single and double sites are available. The park has comfort stations with hot water showers and flush toilets. There is a dumping station for RV travelers. The park has a dock, swimming beach and playground. Comanche Bluff Hiking Trail can be accessed at nearby Taylor Park and can be used by mountain bikers as well as hikers.

Willis Creek Park

Willis Creek Park is found on the west side of Granger Lake. The park is open all year and all of the 27 sites are back-ins. RV campers will find water service and 20- and 30-amp electric. Each site includes an asphalt camp pad measuring 54-by-12 feet, a picnic table, grill and fire ring. The grounds offer a comfort station and dumping station. Visitors can wander the park's hiking trail or head out onto the water. Swimming is allowed and the park has a boat dock and ramp to allow boaters access to the lake for water-skiing and sailing.
