Conestoga Family Campgrounds

Conestoga Family Campgrounds is located in the town of Arthur, in Ontario, next to Lake Rotten Ralph. The park has 250 sites, most of which are set up for extended stays. Of those, 210 sites have full hookup; 30 have just water and electricity (30-amp); and the remaining 10 have no hookup. In addition, there are 10 pull-through sites, laundry facilities, a grocery store and propane gas. Other amenities at the campground include a swimming pool, playground and canoe and pedal boat rentals. Activities around Conestoga Family Campgrounds focus on the lake, where there is swimming, boating and pond fishing. The types of fish stocked at the lake include rainbow trout and catfish. Conestoga is open from May 15 to October 15, and pets are welcome there.

Bancroft Campground

Bancroft Campground is located in the town of Bancroft. The campgrounds have 85 sites, some of which are set up for extended stays. Thirty-two sites have full hookups, 18 have just water and electricity (15/30 amps), and the remaining 35 sites have no hookups. Other facilities at the campgrounds include 28 pull-throughs, laundry facilities, dump station and propane gas. Recreational facilities at the campground include a swimming pool, sports field and playground. The campground is situated on 10 acres, with numerous hiking trails around the grounds. In addition, there is a small lake allowing opportunities for boating and swimming. The campground also has rowboat, canoe, and pedal boat rentals available. Bancroft is open year round and fully operational between April 1 to October 15. Pets are welcome at the campgrounds.

Heidi's Campground

Heidi's Campground is located in Barrie, close to Lake Simcoe. The campgrounds have 180 sites, many of which are set up for extended stays. Of those sites, 160 have full hookups and 20 have just water and electrical hookups at 15/30 amps. You will also find 10 pull-throughs, Wi-Fi Internet access (for a fee), laundry facilities and a grocery store. Other amenities at Heidi's Campground include a swimming pool, whirlpool and sports field. The campground is located next to a creek perfect for stream fishing. There are also numerous hiking trails around the grounds. Heidi's Campground is open year round and is fully operational from May to mid-October. Pets are welcome at the campgrounds as long as they are kept on a leash.
