Those in need of some time outdoors will find the Bull Shoals Lake area of the state offers all manner of water activities including scuba diving, swimming, sail and power boating, waterskiing and Jet Ski riding. For those who prefer the shore, Jones Point State Wildlife Management Area offers opportunities to explore local flora and fauna in an isolated area. With all of the outdoors options, several RV parks cater to the outdoor traveler.

Bull Shoals White River State Park

Drive east along Arkansas Highway 202 to its terminus at Bull Shoals White River State Park. Visitors will discover 105 sites with spaces for class-A motor homes. There are no pull-through spaces offered. Full hookups (30 or 50 amps) also come with Wi-Fi. Campers are responsible for their own sewage disposal. Pets are welcome. The park offers mountain biking and hiking trails that lead visitors through wildflower, woodland and lakeside habitats.

Promise Land Resort and RV Parking

Park the RV along the north side at the Promise Land Resort, where four sites are offered, three of which are designed with big rigs in mind. Full hookups (30 or 50 amps) come with free Wi-Fi. The resort has a pool, boat ramp, dock and rentals, picnic area, grills, playground, shuffleboard, fire pits, recreation room, a camp store and laundry room. Pets are welcome.

Copper Johns Resort

Drive south of the town of Bull Shoals to Copper Johns Resort. Visitors will find 14 sites to choose from with spaces available for both pull-through and class-A motor homes. Full hookups (30 or 50 amps) offer Wi-Fi. The resort has boats for rent, camp store, picnic tables, fire rings, bathrooms and showers. Pets are welcome.
