Situated along the A1A River and Sea Trail, Palm Coast is a newer city nestled amongst native trees and plants that are reminiscent of "Old Florida." The city is known for its upscale golf resorts, lush nature preserves, sparkling inter-coastal canals, and tree-canopied paths. Recreation enthusiasts can enjoy water sports in canals or on the Atlantic Ocean, golfing, tennis, hiking, jogging, beach-going, wildlife viewing and bird-watching. When traveling to Palm Coast there are a number of RV campgrounds in the area from which to choose.

Faver-Dykes State Park

Located approximately 10 minutes north of Palm Coast, Faver-Dykes State Park borders the Pellicer Creek State Canoe Trail. The onsite campground has 30 sites with water and electric, can accommodate RVs up to 30 feet and features restrooms with showers, flush toilets, a dump station and allows pets. Hiking the park's nature trail, wildlife viewing and enjoying Pellicer Creek are popular activities for visitors. Pellicer Creek typically attracts more than 100 bird species during the spring and fall migrations seasons and is a designated state canoe trail popular for canoeing and kayaking.

Beverly Beach RV Camptown Resort

Nestled along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 15 miles south of Palm Coast, Beverly Beach Camptown RV Resort has more than 1500 feet of shoreline property. It has over 130 sites with 30- or 50-amp full hookups, is open all year and features free Wi-Fi Internet, restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, a fish, bait and tackle store, and welcomes pets. A public beach is adjacent to the Resort for beach-going, fishing, boating, and jet-skiing.

Bulow RV Resort

Situated along the banks of Bulow Creek approximately 20 minutes south of Palm Coast, Bulow RV Resort has over 300 sites, 250 of which are 30- or 50-amp full hookups. It features restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, a large swimming pool, sand volleyball and shuffleboard courts, and an activities center. Cabin and RV rentals and tent sites area also available. Located just 10 minutes from the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic coastal beaches, visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, boating, fishing, beach-going, wildlife viewing and bird-watching. Six golf courses are within 15 minutes and Bulow Plantation Ruins State Park is just down the road with hiking and canoeing trails.
