Quartzsite, Arizona RV Parks

Quartzsite, Arizona RV Parks
Those traveling to Quartzsite's RV campgrounds and resorts are well-advised to hook up any watercraft you may own behind you because Lake Havasu offers plenty of room for boating, skiing, fishing and swimming. While in Quartzsite you may also want to take time out to visit the Hi Jolly Monument which honors Hadji Ali and the camels that were brought to this Arizona site to determine whether these desert animals would do well in America's desert setting.

Desert Gardens RV Park

Advertising itself as a "quiet" RV park, Desert Gardens caters to an older crowd, but has room for travelers of all ages. When the very popular Quartzsite Pow Wow gem show is in town--at the beginning of the year--reservations are necessary, as they are for every RV park in town, but none are required from March through December. This Quartzsite RV campground has 111 pull-through sites, of which 51 are gravel and 60 are dirt. These sites have full hookups with 30-amp electric. About 15 miles from this RV park you'll find a several miles of hiking trails at Palm Canyon.
