Garfield County, Colorado is in the west-central section of the state and has a variety of wild lands and parks. Flat Tops Wilderness, Grand Mesa National Forest, and Harvey Gap State Park are just a few of the parks and protected lands in the county. The River Dance Resort is in a convenient location for anglers, kayakers and rafters. There are opportunities for water activities, as the Eagle River flows by the campgrounds. Glenwood Springs is only a few miles away, where there are natural hot springs to soak in. Pets are allowed. The Glenwood Canyon Resort is close to the hot springs where visitors can enjoy hot-springs fed pools. Hiking and biking trails, as well as cross-country and downhill skiing venues are all within 15 minutes of the resort. RVs can be accommodated with either pull-through or back-in sites.
