The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum features a 37-acre park for picnics and walks after you've taken in all the history. One of the most popular sites in Waco for tourists and locals is the Dr. Pepper Museum, which reveals the history of the world's first successful soft drink beverage. Around Waco are hiking trails and lakes for fishing.

Quail Crossing RV Park

Riverview Crossing Campground

Riverview Crossing has 127 full hookup sites offering water, sewer, satellite TV and wireless Internet service. The interior roads are paved and in very good condition. Facilities include bathrooms, showers and a laundromat. Located across the street from this Waco RV campground is a pond that is stocked with fish, so bring your rod and reel and tackle box. There is a clubhouse for large gatherings and RV rallies and a smaller clubhouse more intimate social occasions. Attach your watercraft to your vehicle because there is a boat launch that allows you to go straight from the park into the adjacent river. A few miles into the city you can try out the 10 miles of Cameron Park biking trails.

I-35 RV Park and Resort

Six miles north of Waco is the home of the I-35 RV Park and Resort. The full hookup sites here offer water, sewer, cable TV and 30/50 amp electricity. Many of these are pull-through sites with plenty of room for bigger rigs. Facilities include bathrooms, showers and laundry. Other amenities include a large lagoon-style swimming pool and Jacuzzi as well as a game room and exercise pavilion. Bring your fishing gear because this Waco RV resort is home to its own fishing ponds. All of the water recreation available at Lake Waco is only about 30 minutes away.
