Alpine Meadows

Located within Tahoe City, Alpine Meadows provides guests a wonderful skiing and snowboarding experience without having to sacrifice the comfort and luxuries available in a major city. While many tourists visit nearby Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows tends to be a favorite of the local skiing and snowboarding community. While there are only 13 lifts (as opposed to Squaw Valley's 33), many of which provide superb views of Lake Tahoe, there is over 2,400 acres of skiable terrain. Best of all, as most people head to Squaw Valley, the less crowded runs mean more relaxation and activity throughout the day.
