RV campers driving around the massive Lake Texoma in Oklahoma will find that the area has many RV parks to choose from. Formed from waters of both the Red and Washita Rivers, Lake Texoma is a playground for those who enjoy water activities such as swimming, sailing, fishing, wind surfing, jet skiing and power boating.

Little Glasses Resort & Marina

Park the RV along the northern portion of the lake at the Little Glasses Resort & Marina. Eighty-two sites are offered and include spaces for pull-through and larger RVs. Hook-ups include 30- and 50-amp electric, water and sewer. The park has bathrooms, showers, a dump station, a large kitchen and bar for groups and a waterside pavilion. Pets are welcome. Drive-ins are welcome, and reservations must be made at least two nights in advance.

Lake Texoma State Park

Sleep close to Interstate 70 while staying at Lake Texoma State Park. Visitors choose between 517 sites spread among three campgrounds. Hookups include 50-amp electric, sewer and water. Satellite television connections are available as well. The park also offers a pool, an 18-hole golf course, an airstrip, a lodge and restaurant, nature center, riding stable and marina, and miles of walking and cycling trails. Pets are welcome. Those with boats will not have to wait long as the marina is large and boat ramps numerous.

Burns Run East

Burns Run East lies along the southeastern edge of Lake Texoma and close to the Texas border. Fifty-four sites are offered with spaces available for pull-through RVs. Hookups include 30-amp electric, water and sewer. Burns Run East has picnic tables and grills, a playground, two boat launching areas, a dump station, restrooms and showers. Pets are welcome. Reservations must be made two days in advance. The park has no store, but a convenience store and restaurant can be found a half mile away.
