RV Parks in the Ketchum, Idaho Area
Located in the Sun Valley area of central Idaho, Ketchum has ample outdoor recreational opportunities with the Sawtooth National Forest, ski resorts, hiking trails, biking trails and scenic byways. The area also has shopping, dining, and entertainment in a small town setting. The Sawtooth Mountains provide visitors with numerous recreational options and the rivers of the region have whitewater rafting and fishing for trout, salmon and steelhead. RV parks in the area are limited but RV camping can be found throughout the national forest area.

The Meadows RV Park

Located in Ketchum, this RV park is close to hiking and biking trails. The park has 43 sites with wireless Internet access and cable television. On site are showers, restrooms and an RV wash. Sites have hookups for water, sewer, and 30- or 50-amp electric. Some sites are shaded, and the park is close to fishing and rafting on the Wood River. It is pet-friendly and has several large pull-through sites.

Smiley Creek Lodge

Located 40 miles North of downtown Ketchum, this RV park in the Sawtooth National Forest has large shaded sites with 30-amp electric hookups. The park has water, showers and laundry facilities. The lodge is close to rafting and fishing on the Salmon River and it is common to view elk herds while hiking and biking in the area. There is a restaurant, store, and cabin and teepee rentals.

West Magic Resort

The West Magic Resort is 54 miles south of downtown Ketchum, and has waterfront access to Magic Reservoir, which offers boating, swimming and fishing. The resort has a convenience store, a restaurant, and a full bar. It is an environmentally friendly park with a recycling program and energy-efficient appliances. The park is pet-friendly and has hookups for water, sewer and 20-, 30- and 50-amp electric.
