RV Parks in Silverton, Colorado
Silverton, Colo., is a former silver mining town in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. The Silverton Mountain Ski Area offers lift-assisted mountain biking in summer as well as skiing in winter. For railroad fans and buffs, the Silverton-Durango Railroad is found in the area and is one of North America's last remaining narrow-gauge railroads. RV travelers have several options for camping.

Pets are allowed but should remain leashed. Tent sites are level and have access to fresh drinking water. Sites have fire-rings and picnic tables, however, guests should check with management prior to having fires to see if there are any current restrictions or bans.
