The RV parks and resorts in Williamsburg, Virginia put you close to an array of outdoor recreation. The Colonial Williamsburg walk is 2.5 miles through the streets of a recreated colonial village peopled by costumed characters. Bikers can enjoy the 42-mile long Colonial Cruise that starts in nearby Jamestown and takes you on a scenic tour back to Williamsburg.
 

American Heritage RV Park

Well-maintained gravel interior roads lead to 95 full hookup sites including water, sewer, cable TV and 20/30/50 amp electric. Of these 95 sites, 70 are large pull-through. You have a choice of shade or open sites at the American Heritage RV park. Facilities include bathrooms, showers, laundry, a camp store that sells RV supplies and souvenirs of your visit to colonial Williamsburg. Onsite recreation includes a swimming pool, volleyball court, basketball court, horseshoes, miniature golf and nature trails. The rec room includes a TV, library and an area for meetings and rallies. The Heritage Room and Colonial rooms are also available for meeting and potluck dinners by the fireplace. The hiking trails inside York River State Park are less than 10 minutes away.

Anvil Campground

Anvil Campground offers 44 full hookup sites including water, sewer, cable TV and 30/50 amp electrical service. Facilities include bathrooms, showers, laundry, RV supplies store and grocery. Anvil is the only RV resort in Williamsburg that offers shuttle service into town and the buses include racks for bikes in case you want to explore this old city on two wheels. Onsite recreation includes a swimming pool, playground for the kids, horseshoes and a game room. Nearby attractions less than 15 minutes away includes the Ghosts of Williamsburg Candlelight Tour and the trout fishing at Waller Mill Reservoir.

Williamsburg KOA

Williamsburg KOA is lined with gravel roads that lead to 110 full hookup sites including water, sewer, cable TV and 30/50 amp electric. This KOA campground is spread across 180 acres and features two heated swimming pools, a game room, basketball court, several playgrounds and more. Facilities include bathrooms, showers, laundry, grocery and RV supply store. Bring your pet and take advantage of "Kamp K9," where you dog can run free and get the exercise off the leash he really needs. About an hour away are the hiking trails inside Chippokes Plantation State Park. A far quicker trip, about five minutes on your feet, takes you over to the Barlows Pond.
