Visitors can enjoy swimming, beach-going, fishing and boating at the city facilities within walking distance of the park.

The Breeze Hotel and RV Park

The Breeze Hotel and RV Park is open all year and offers 15 sites with 20-, 30- or 50-amp full hookups. Each site is a concrete pad and can accommodate RVs up to 80 feet. The park features cable TV with HBO, Wi-Fi Internet, and allows pets. The property also boasts a hotel with six beach-front suites. Located along the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, visitors can enjoy beach-going, fishing, bird-watching, boating and scenic views during sunrise and sunset.

San Luis Pass County Park

Historically, San Luis Pass has been a popular "backdoor" into Galveston Bay for pirates and smugglers. Today, San Luis Pass County Park is a15-acre bay park located approximately 15 minutes northeast of Surfside off CR 257. It has 69 paved sites with 30- or 50-amp full hookups and features back-in or pull-through sites, restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, a playground, fish-cleaning station and boat launch. Fishing, boating, bird-watching, wildlife viewing and beach-going are popular activities for visitors.
