Lined by the Indian River and the Atlantic Ocean, the city of Ft. Pierce lies on the east coast of Florida. Treasure Coast RV Park & Campground

Treasure Coast RV Park & Campground is located about a mile from the Florida Turnpike and I-95, making it easily accessible. The rural campground includes several small lakes and large oak trees. There are full hook-up sites, free cable TV and wireless internet. The park offers a clubhouse, pool, hot tub, showers, restrooms and a dog walk area. Ft. Pierce Inlet State Park and Pepper Beach State Recreation Area are both about 10 miles away.

Savannas Recreation Area

This 550-acre, county-run park includes pine flat woods, marshes, lakes, wetlands and a variety of wildlife. The campground offers primitive, unimproved and improved sites. Unimproved sites have water and improved sites have water and electric. Camping is allowed October through the first part of May. Extras include a picnic area with grills, a laundry facility, a bathroom with showers, pay phones, a dump station and volleyball and basketball courts. Pets are allowed. Anglers can use the park's boat ramp, fish in the fresh water lake or rent a canoe at the park. Bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy the photo opportunities and hikers can walk the nature trails. Savannas is approximately 9 miles from the Atlantic Ocean.

Road Runner Travel Resort offers over 450 full hook-up sites situated in an oak hammock with several small lakes. All sites include cable TV. The resort includes a clubhouse, a heated pool, tennis courts, a convenience store and a laundry facility. There is free Wi-Fi and pets are accepted. There are also cabins for rent. Pepper Beach State Recreation Area and Ft. Pierce Inlet State Park are 4 miles away.
