Campgrounds in Rochester, Minnesota
Rochester, Minnesota, is a mid-size city located southeast of the Twin Cities. Rochester is home to the famed Mayo Clinic. The Chester Woods Park is nearby and offers mountain biking and hiking. Whitewater State Park, within an hour's drive, offers fishing and boating opportunities for the angler or kayak-touring enthusiast. Rochester has many urban activities, including gourmet restaurants, a tour of the Mayo Clinic and boutique shopping.

Autumnwoods RV Park

The Autumnwoods offers campers a selection of sites, from "dry" (without hookups) to full service. Full-service hookup sites include water, sewer, 30- or 50-amp electric, cable TV and Wi-Fi. Primitive sites have a level patio and picnic table. Showers and bathrooms are available for all types of sites, as well as laundry facilities. Pets are welcome. The Autumnwoods is open seasonally from Feb. 15 through Nov. 30. The guided walking tour of Historic Ellerbe Homes on Pill Hill can be accessed within a few minutes from the Autumnwood.

Rochester KOA

The Rochester KOA has sites for slide-out rigs and larger RVs. Site hookups include cable TV, Wi-Fi, 20-, 30- or 50-amp electric, water and sewer. The KOA has hot showers, private bathrooms, guest house, laundry room, playground, picnic tables and fire rings. Pets are allowed. AAA and Good Sam club members can receive discounted stays. The nearby Amish Country makes for a convenient day trip. Hiking and biking trails can be found from the campground.

Hidden Meadows RV Park

The Hidden Meadows RV Park is located on the banks of the Zumbro River. The campsites can handle most size RVs, and there are sites for primitive camping as well. RV sites come with 30- or 50-amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV and Wi-Fi. There is a laundry facility, restrooms and showers, recreation hall, playgrounds, general store and firewood service on the premises for guest use and convenience. There is fishing, kayaking and swimming in the river. Pets are allowed but should remain leashed while on the grounds. There are on-site hiking and biking trails for guest use.
