Foothills Family Campground

Foothills Family Campground offers RV sites with 30- or 50-amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV and Wi-Fi hookups. Hot showers, private toilets, a general store, swimming pool, and a laundry facility are on the grounds for guest use. Pets are allowed, except for large dogs, and must be kept on leashes. There are hiking trails in the campground on the many acres of forest within the grounds. At nearby Chimney Rock State Park, guests can hike the Skyline Trail, which gives views of the Devil's Head rock formation and Hickory Nut Gorge.

Four Paws Kingdom

Four Paws Kingdom offers visitors a unique campground designed for four-legged visitors and their two legged-friends. Four Paws is set up to be a dog park and RV resort. Canine amenities include hiking trails, a dog pond, doggie play-parks, and a dog bathhouse with a grooming station. In addition to the dog facilities, the RV resort has sites for most size RVs and hookups include 30- or 50-amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV and Wi-Fi. Four Paws Kingdom is closed during winter and opens on April 1.

Hickory Nut Falls Family Campground

Guests staying at Hickory Nut Falls Family Campground can enjoy the convenient location. The campground is near Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure, and Biltmore Estate. Hiking trails, boating, and fishing opportunities can be found within the region. The campground has sites with water, 50-amp electric and sewer. The campground has showers, bathrooms, a laundry room, playground and a dump station. Pets are allowed but should be leashed while on the premises. The campground is open seasonally between April 1 through October 31.
