Campbelll River is tucked on the eastern coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. From its famed salmon runs, Campbell River bills itself as the "Salmon Capital of the World." Attractions around the Campbell River area include snorkeling with the salmon as they begin their migrations up the river, bear watching, hiking, and sea-kayaking along the rocky coastline. Visitors can take a trip to the Museum at Campbell River or the Kwagiulth Museum and learn about the first nations people that live in the region.
 

Campbell River Fishing Village and RV Park

The RV park at the Campbell River Fishing Village has sites for most size RVs and is open year-round. Sites come with water, sewer, cable TV and 30-amp electric. There are daily, weekly, monthly-summer and monthly-winter rates for stays. There are sites that have ocean views and views of Discovery Passage. Hot showers and private bathrooms, picnic areas and a laundromat are on the premises for guest use. There are fishing charters, boat rentals and opportunities for sea-kayaking from the campground.

Driftwood by the Sea

Driftwood by the Sea has views of Discovery Passage and Cape Mudge Lighthouse. Many sites are on the water and most size RV can be accommodated. Sites include 30- or 50-amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV and Wi-Fi. The sites are level and made for easy parking. One pet per RV is allowed. Orcas, seals and eagles are frequently sighted from the Driftwood. There is an 8 kilometer sea walk along the river that can be accessed from the Driftwood. Hot showers and private bathrooms are on the grounds for guest use.

Parkside Campground and RV Park

The Parkside Campground has a range of amenities and services for the RV visitor. Sites come with water, sewer, cable TV, Wi-Fi and 50-amp electric. There are hot showers, picnic areas, fire-rings, a laundromat and a dump station. Pets are allowed but should be leashed while in the park. Parkside is close to salmon fishing, sea-kayaking, hiking and boating charters.
