Aztec, New Mexico RV Parks
Aztec, N.M., is in the northern part of the state, just below the Colorado state line. To the east of Aztec is Navajo Lake State Park, which offers canoeing, flat-water kayaking, fishing and hiking. North of Aztec is Mesa Verde National Park and the San Juan National Forest in Colorado. Nearby cultural attractions include the Aztec Ruins from ancient Pueblo culture and Chaco Canyon.

Ruins Road RV Park and Campground

The Ruins Road RV Park and Campground has 43 pull-thru sites and eight spaces that can accommodate backed-in campers. The sites have full hookups, with water and sewer. There are also spaces for tent camping. The campground has free Wi-Fi.

Navajo Lake State Park

Navajo Lake crosses the New Mexico-Colorado border. The park has 246 developed campsites, with 98 electrical hookups. There are shower facilities, restrooms, a playground, picnic areas, public telephones and handicap-access, including facilities for fishing on the San Juan River.

Desert Rose Resort

The Desert Rose has water, sewer, electricity and cable television at each site. Amenities also include a dump station, a pet park and dog-walking area, Wi-Fi, a laundry room, firewood and a full-service restaurant on the property. There also is a hot tub, swimming pool, game room, fishing and a playground. National Park Service personnel are available for interpretive talks.

Angel Peak RV Park

Angel Peak RV Park offers full hookups for water, sewer and electrical services. There are sites that can accommodate recreational vehicles and trailers up to 28 feet wide and 40 feet long. The park has Wi-Fi, restrooms, shower facilities and a convenience store.
