The park is along the banks of the Nenana River. It is 2 miles north of the Denali National Park entrance and 10 miles south of the town of Healy. Amenities include 30- and 50-amp electric, water, satellite television, a gift shop and snack bar, dump station, laundry facilities, propane, firewood, showers and bathrooms as well as being handicap-accessible. The park has 91 sites with pull-thru and big-rig access.

Rainbow Village is a mile from the entrance to Denali National Park. It has 67 sites with hookups for 20-, 30- and 50-amp electric, water and dump station, free Wi-Fi and satellite access, picnic areas, and fax and email services. It is within walking distance of convenience stores and gift shops.
