The town of Monument, Colorado is on the front range of the Rocky Mountains about 22 miles north of Colorado Springs. The area is a recreational mecca with a diverse range of outdoor and indoor activities. Nearby you will find hiking trails, biking trails and fishing on the South Platte River, Antero Reservoir, 11 Mile Reservoir and Spinney Mountain Reservoir. The Pike National Forest also has camping, hunting, scenery and an extensive trail system. The town has dining and shopping off the wooden sidewalks in the downtown area, and while there are no RV parks within Monument itself, you'll find several in the Colorado Springs area.

Garden of the Gods Campground

Located in Colorado Springs, this RV park is close to hiking and biking trails and is a short drive from the unique rock formations of the Garden of the Gods. The park has large pull-through sites, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, two heated pools, playground, television lounge, basketball court and picnic areas. There are community socials in the park and hookups for water, sewer and electricity at 30 and 50 amps. The park is pet-friendly and includes a private section of Mountain Creek that flows through the grounds.

Goldfield RV Park

This RV Park has large shaded sites and is located 20 miles south of downtown Monument. It has restrooms, showers, a dump station and hookups for water, sewer and 30 and 50 amp electricity. The park is close to hiking trails, biking trails, Cave of the Winds, rafting on the Arkansas River and shopping and dining in Colorado Springs.
