Midessa Oil Patch RV Park provides 133 sites--including pull throughs--and big rigs can be accommodated. Guests can expect a site with shade trees, a picnic table and grassy area. Wi-Fi service and 30- or 50-amp electric are available. The park offers a convenience store with grocery and camping items for sale, propane refills and a dump station. Take a leisurely swim in the heated pool, picnic at the pavilion or head over to the rec room. The park has outdoor games and hosts family game nights. It even has a pet playground. Midessa is less than 12 miles from Midland and 22 miles from the Odessa Meteor Crater. Hike along the area on a self-guided tour or head straight down Crater Trail to the impact point.

Texas RV Park of Big Spring

A stay at Texas RV Park of Big Spring means you can enjoy the comforts of home as you camp out under the stars. The park is 40 miles northeast of Midland, a good choice if you are traveling to Midland down I-20. Guests may select a shady or sunny site, and the park offers many pull-through sites with long, level lots for ease in parking. The sites include 50-amp electric, and the owners plan to upgrade to a 50/50/30 service option. Wi-Fi service and cable TV are available. The grounds provide a dedicated pet exercise area and meditation garden, and guests can enjoy the pool (open seasonally) and spa and a recreation room with game and exercise areas. Security is provided around the clock, and supplies can be purchased on site. Big Spring State Park also is located in the city of Big Spring, and visitors can run along the bluff, walk the nature trail or bike along the paved park road.
