Citrus Mobile & RV Park hosts 163 RV sites with 30-amp electrical service. This is a highly social gated community with very good security. Activities include potluck dinners, bingo, church service, pool tournaments and water aerobics. Recreation includes swimming in the heated pool, shuffleboard and pool. It's an hour drive to get in on the surfing, swimming and deep sea fishing excursions that take off from South Padre Island. The Mexican border crossing is just 20 miles away. Citrus appeals primarily to seniors, so if you're looking for singles activities for younger people, you might want to look elsewhere.

Victoria Palms RV Resort

If you are looking for a bona fide RV resort in the McAllen area, look no further than Victoria Palms. The sites are full hookup and pull-through with large grassy areas to the side. Even if you never make it to the Santa Ana Wildlife Refuge or the beaches on South Padre Island, you can find plenty of things to keep you busy.
