Gooseberry Falls State Park Campground

Considered the gateway to Minnesota's North Shore, Gooseberry Falls State Park lies along Lake Superior shoreline. The Gooseberry River, with its rocky gorge and multiple waterfalls, runs through the park. The park also hosts Civilian Conservation Corps log and stone structures and many hiking trails that offer birdwatching and wildlife viewing opportunities . A 2.5-mile section of the Gitchi-Gami State Trail runs from the park to the town of Beaver Bay. The campground features RV and tent camping sites, showers, flush and vault toilets and a dump station.

Split Rock Lighthouse State Park Campground

Split Rock Lighthouse State Park is named after the historic lighthouse on site. The park is also home to 12 miles of hiking trails, six miles of mountain biking trails and eight miles of cross-country skiing trails. There are three miles of scenic hiking trails along Lake Superior that connect with the Superior Hiking Trail, the 205-mile hiking trail reaching to the Canadian border. The campground features secluded tent camping sites, wheeled carts to haul supplies to your campsite, showers, flush and vault toilets and picnic areas along the lakeshore.

Penmarallter Campsite

Situated along scenic Highway 61, Penmarallter Campsite offers you a convenient location to explore Two Harbors' attractions and an easy access to many hiking and biking trails. Overlooking Lake Superior, the campground is within walking distance of fishing and kayaking sites. The campground occupies 13 acres and offers RV and tent sites. It features water, electric and sewer hookups, wireless Internet access, hot showers, flush toilets, sanitary dump station and firewood for sale. The campground welcomes leashed pets for no additional charge.
