Located in the northwestern portion of Florida's panhandle, the city of Pace has one RV park in the area. If you are a fan of country or bluegrass music, the Farmers Opry House Campground prides itself on providing quality family entertainment. The Farmers Opry House Campground offers 158 sites, 22 of which are full-hookup and the balance of which are water and electric sites. There is a clubhouse on-site that offers home-cooked country meals. As of 2010, the bath house had been recently refurbished.
Call ahead for the latest rates, and the resort accepts payments in cash or personal checks.
Things to Do
The main attraction at the park is the music hall that brings a variety of country, gospel and bluegrass artists to the area. There are also picnic shelters, a clubhouse and hiking trails.
Pensacola and Gulf of Mexico beaches are a 15-mile drive to the south.
Coming from Interstate 10, take Exit 22 and make a left on Highway 90. Follow this to Chumuckla Highway and make a right with another right on Highway 197. Follow 197 for 9.5 miles to Byrom Campbell Road and make a left. Follow the road for a half-mile to the Farmers Opry House Campground on the right.
