RV Campsites in Arizona

RV Campsites in Arizona
Arizona has many RV campsites that can be found throughout the state. RV vacations to Arizona during the spring means taking in Major League Baseball's best during the Cactus League games of spring training. The Grand Canyon, the Sonoran Desert and the Petrified Forest National Park provide an escape into the topographical wonders of the ancient past. Throughout Arizona you can find interesting hiking and biking trails, places to swim and rocks to climb.

Kartchner Caverns State Park

The caverns after which this park is named are the primary reason to park your vehicle at one of the 64 RV-only sites. A separate admission to the Kartchner Caverns is required, but you don't need to take advantage of the caves to have a good time here. Several hiking trails are found in the park and the infamous Wild West town of Tombstone is nearby. All sites include a picnic table and pets are allowed as long as they are on a leash. If you do decide to take advantage of the caverns you will be treated to exceptional formations that include both stalagmites and stalactites, cave pearls, coral pipes and other amazing sights that are revealed during the hour and a half long tour.
