The seaside town of Stuart lies on the southeastern coast of Florida along the Atlantic Ocean, known as the Treasure Coast. RV campers will not be disappointed with their stay in this small, tropical town with all the outdoor recreational opportunities it offers. Known as the "Sailfish Capital of the World," the area offers anglers with plenty of salt and freshwater fishing opportunities.

Ronny's RV Ranch

Located just outside the city limits is Ronny's RV Ranch, which offers 40 full hookup RV sites, available for rent by the day, week or month. Ronny's offers a picnic table and cable TV at each site. The park has a clubhouse, restrooms and showers, as well as a laundry facility. Pets are permitted. Hammock Creek Golf Club is located approximately six miles from the park. Seabranch Preserve State Park is approximately 10 miles away for hiking, fishing and wildlife viewing.

Phipps Park & Campground

Managed by the county and located directly on the Okeechobee Waterway is the 55-acre Phipps Park & Campground. The area is a conservation area, so wildlife abounds within the park's boundaries. Many of the 54 full hookup, grassy, RV sites are located directly on the waterway. The campground offers restrooms, showers, picnic tables and picnic area, as well as a boat launch. Hikers will enjoy the hiking trails leading through unspoiled Florida. Anglers can fish for both salt and freshwater fish. The campground is approximately one-half mile from the St. Lucie Locks. No pets.

St. Lucie Lock Recreation Area

The St. Lucie Lock Recreation Area is a 154-acre park situated direction by the St. Lucie Lock and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The park offers eight shaded RV sites that are full hookup and have concrete pads, a picnic table and fire ring. There are three tent campsites. Guests will enjoy the 2,500-square-foot visitor center, which offers a free library book exchange, movie and exhibits of the area. The park has a playground, showers, restrooms, picnic area, boat launch and fishing pier. Hikers and wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy the parks hiking trails and anglers will enjoy fishing directly at the park, or launching their boat and fishing the miles of waterways in the area. The park permits leashed pets. The St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park is located approximately 10 miles from the park.
