Cable, Wisconsin Resorts
Northern Wisconsin's town of Cable has a close relationship with the Chequamegon National Forest. Since the local economy depends on both logging and tourism, residents of the area highly respect the forest. As a gateway to the great forest, Cable offers conveniences as well as community and world-class events from local pancake breakfasts for hunters to the American Birkebeiner Classic Cross Country Ski Race. Lake Owen and Lake Namakagon provide many recreational opportunities and are a hub for tourists and residents alike.
