There are plenty of outdoor activities such as skiing, fishing, golf, camping and walking trails. Other attractions include a couple of museums, an athletic center and shops. Rates are broken down based on length of stay including daily, weekly and monthly, and pull-throughs are slightly more expensive. Shady Oaks RV Park is situated on the Colorado River offering plenty of fishing off the two docks or along the bank. Other activity possibilities include campfires, boating and games in the rec room. Amenities include a laundry, store, bath houses, fish cleaning area, boat slips and picnic pavilion. Some sites are pull-throughs for larger RVs, and all sites have full hookup as well as the option of phone and cable.

Inks Lake RV Park is within driving distance of the Highland Lakes, where visitors will find plenty of outdoor recreation including fishing, boating, skiing and walking trails. Other nearby activities include shopping, museums, golf and winery tours. There's a rec room with cable TV, games, showers, picnic area and a laundry. Sites include water, sewer and electric. Pull-throughs are available.
