Trinidad, California, RV Parks
Trinidad, California, a coastal haven of Humboldt Country, lies 15 miles north of Eureka. Known primarily as a hot spot for fishing and crabbing, Trinidad also affords hikers with the opportunity of exploring magnificent Trinidad Head and trekking out to see the historic Trinidad Head Lighthouse. Trinidad also offers close access to Patrick's Point State Park, where trails lead visitors along the scenic coastline and through old-growth spruce, fir and pine forests. The area offers several RV parks to provide a home base during your stay.

Azalea Glen RV Park and Campground

Azalea Glen is located 10 miles from the city center of Trinidad and directly across the road from Patrick's Point State Park, within walking distance of hikes to the beach and through forest trails. The park has 38 full hookup sites with 50-amp electric and wireless Internet access.

The surrounding landscaping features a pond frequented by ducks and other visiting waterfowl. Guests can use a large, grassy area with a built-in horseshoe pit and picnic tables. Though the park allows pets, note that Patrick's Point State Park does not allow dogs on its trails; run Fido at Trinidad Beach in town instead. To ensure a spot, make a reservation with a one-night deposit during the peak season of May through October; Azalea Glen accepts cancellations up to 14 days before arrival. The park only accepts cash and personal checks---no credit cards.
