Bayfield, Wisconsin Family Resorts
"Where the water meets the soul" is how the locals describe Bayfield, Wis. With access to more than 20 islands in Lake Superior that make up the Apostle Islands, Bayfield is the perfect place for the outdoor lover to kayak, fish, swim, boat, hike, dogsled, snowshoe, ski or snowboard. The ice and sea caves lend a mystical quality to the already deep water features, making the entire town a resort.
