Gulf State Park

About eight miles from Orange Beach in Gulf Shores, Gulf State Park is a 6,150-acre recreational playground. It is one of Alabama's State Parks and is on two miles of white sand beaches and the 900-acre Lake Shelby for fishing, boating, water skiing and swimming. There is a 496-site campground with full hookups situated 1.5 miles from the beach that features large paved pads that can accommodate big rigs, bathhouses with showers and Internet access. There is also tennis, an 18-hole golf course, nature programs and hiking trails. Tent sites are also available.

Lazy Acres RV Park & Campground

About 20 miles north of Orange Beach in nearby Elberta, Lazy Acres RV Park & Campground is open all year and has 46 sites with 15-, 30- or 50-amp full hookups. There are 21 pull-through sites capable of accommodating larger RVs up to 65 feet. It features a bathhouse with showers, laundry facilities, Internet access, a swimming pool, fishing and is pet friendly. There are tent sites also available.
