Campsites in the Delta Region of California

Campsites in the Delta Region of California
The delta region of California is a triangle-shape area spanning approximately three-quarters of a million acres. The delta is roughly defined by the cities of Sacramento, Stockton and Pittsburg. The region is dominated by waterways, including lakes and canals, that offer numerous opportunities for hiking, fishing, boating and camping. Wineries and tourist villages pepper the region, enabling visitors to sample the locally grown produce or wines.
