Nassau, capital city of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, holds approximately 80 percent of the country's population. A city on the island of New Providence, Nassau is approximately 180 miles southeast of Miami, Florida, and is a popular American tourist destination. It features an attractive, busy port and harbor with a colorful blend of colonial architecture along its downtown streets. Breezes Bahamas

Breezes Bahamas, a 391-room all-inclusive resort, is located on the west end of New Providence Island in the Cable Beach area. Each room includes a mini-bar, telephone and television. Guests need to be 14 years and older. Airport transfers to and from the Nassau International Airport is included.

Breezes Bahamas has three lighted tennis courts, beach volleyball, basketball, table tennis, bicycles, jogging trail, poolside jacuzzi and three freshwater swimming pools. Breezes Bahamas has a 30-foot rock-climbing wall and ice skating rink. Water sports include kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, pool volleyball and water skiing. Breezes has a full fitness center with an instructor.

Dining in the all-inclusive plan includes a full American-style breakfast buffet or continental breakfast/snack, hot and cold buffet with a variety of desserts and dinner buffet in one of four restaurants or four bars on site. From soft drinks to top-shelf premium brands, all are included.

Nightly live entertainment includes steel bands, reggae classes, tropical shows, karaoke and guest/staff talent shows.

Paradise Island Harbour Resort

Paradise Island Harbour is a 246-room all-inclusive resort. Each room includes a full bath and shower, cable TV, high-speed Internet access (with an additional charge) and refrigerators. Supervised children's activities are included at the Camp Paradise Kid's Club.

Three meals daily are included on-site at Harborview Restaurant, Captain's Table Buffet Restaurant or Wahoo's Poolside Grille. Spinnaker's Lobby Bar is a favorite meeting place for adults. Guests are entitled to unlimited house brand drinks and all food and beverage taxes and gratuities are included.

Water activities, part of this all-inclusive resort, include snorkeling in the on-site lagoon, use of the new 250,000 gallon free-form swimming pool with waterfall and hot tub, floating rafts, daily scuba lessons, beach chairs, kid's paddle boats and two-person kayaks.

Land activities include two tennis courts, billiards, basketball, complimentary use of mountain bikes, fitness center access, reggae dance lessons and beach bowling.

Adult entertainment in the evening includes Bahamian Fire and Limbo entertainers dancing to Junkanoo music, with Caribbean calypso music, karaoke piano music and dancing.

Hotel Riu Palace Paradise Island

Hotel Riu, a 379-room all-inclusive resort, is located on a three-mile stretch of beach next to the Atlantis Resort. Each room includes mini-bars and liquor dispensers, flat screen satellite TV, sitting area or living room area and balcony. Internet access is an additional charge.

Hotel Riu Paradise Island features a dive center, beach volleyball, aqua aerobics, doctor on call, gift shop, laundry and fitness center. An introductory scuba lesson in the Riu pool is part of the all-inclusive price. Land activities include a sauna, gym, jacuzzi, tennis, table tennis, aerobic, beach volleyball and air gun shooting.

Riu dining in the all-inclusive plan includes a full American-style breakfast buffet and dinner buffet. Dining is available from five themed restaurants and four luxurious bars on site. Non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are included and served 24 hours a day.

Daytime entertainment programs are provided for adults, with nightly shows or live music daily for families.

Sandals Royal Bahamian

Sandals, an adult-only 405-room Five Diamond Award resort, is located just offshore from New Providence Island on the private island of Sandals Cay. There are two white sand beaches, only accessible via a short boat ride from Cable Beach on New Providence Island. Rooms and suites include four-poster king size bed, air conditioning, amenity kit, telephone, satellite TV and private bathroom.

Sandals' all-inclusive package includes all food and beverages, non-motorized water sports, land sports, scuba diving, entertainment and round-trip Nassau airport transfers.

There are eight themed restaurants for dining choices and one pub. For a touch of romance, eat in the Sandals Cay's gazebo under candlelight.

All-inclusive water sports are windsurfing, a misting pool, canoes/kayaks, seven pools/six waterfalls, sailboats, two swim-up bars, hydro bikes and snorkeling. For dives near the shore, scuba diving equipment is included (except wetsuit, fins and mask). Land-based activities include tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball and a 24-hour fitness center.

Nightly entertainment, with live shows and themed events, is included. Weekly entertainment includes formal night, reggae night, casino nights and talent shows.
