This world-famous pier hosts Pacific Park, a family amusement park offering games of skill, an arcade, a massive Ferris wheel, a roller coaster and several other rides that provide great views of the Pacific Ocean. The Santa Monica Pier has a fair-like atmosphere, with plentiful vendors selling everything from caricature and sculptures of you to your name engraved on a grain of rice. You'll find restaurant favorites such as Bubba Gump Shrimp Company on the pier as well. No matter what you choose to do, the Santa Monica Pier will bring out the kid in you.

Laguna Beach

Dreaming of vacationing abroad? Why leave Southern California when you can have some of the best diving in the area at Laguna Beach? Laguna Beach has not just one beach but eight. Laguna's most renowned and popular strand, Main Beach, lies in the heart of the city---just a short walk from downtown and all of its dining and shopping options. Main Beach has two basketball courts at its north end, and you'll find several volleyball nets on the beach as well.
