According to Georgia State Parks, "Tallulah Gorge is 2 miles long and nearly 1,000 feet deep." Hikers have to have a permit to hike the rim trails (limit of 100 per day). You can walk the suspension bridge, 80 feet above the gorge. The bridge sways as you view the waterfalls and river. Forrest Hills Mountain Resort and Conference Center

According to Forrest Hills Mountain Resort and Conference Center, "Forrest Hills Resort has been nominated as one of the top 100 U.S. resorts for 10 of its 30 years of existence." The 111-room resort and conference center is situated near the Blue Ridge Mountains on 140 acres and includes dining, meeting facilities, fitness workout, walking trails, wedding chapel and gift shop. Everything you need for business meetings, family reunions, team building groups and weddings is available.

The Mountain Laurel Inn offers 12 bi-level suites, 1,200 square feet each. The first level includes a Jacuzzi and king bed and entertainment center. Bath includes a steam sauna. The second level has a gas log fireplace, wet bar, covered deck and sitting area with a sofa bed. A shared hot tub is located outdoors.
