Located a short distance from the Dow and BASF facilities in the area, the 66 full hookup (most 30 and 50 amp but some 30 amp only) spaces on this previous cattle pasture provide an excellent temporary address for those in the Brazosport area for work. On-site amenities include cable TV, Wi-Fi (for an additional charge), picnic areas, volleyball court, and horseshoe pits. As of 2009, the daily rate is $28 to $30 for a 30-amp site and $31 to $33 for a 50-amp site depending on location.

Quintana Beach County Park

This 45-acre county park along the Gulf Coast offers bird watching, fishing and shelling in addition to the historical sites of Fort Bates and Freeport Harbor Defense. Of the 54 full hookup sites, 35 are back-in with 30-amp service and 19 are pull-thru with 50-amp service. Additional amenities include a playground, picnic tables, fishing pier, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, restrooms and showers. Pets are permitted but must be kept on a leash. Rates vary according to site, season and county of residence. As of 2009, a back-in site rents for $20 to $25 per day and $120 to $125 per week while a pull-through site rents for $22 to $27 per day and $132 to $162 per week. Tent campsites and rental cabins are also available.
