Florida Pet Friendly Campgrounds

Florida Pet Friendly Campgrounds
Campers enjoy Florida's year-round opportunities to explore the outdoors and the wildlife. There's kayaking, hiking and bird watching through pristine mangrove forests as well as swimming, sailing and snorkeling at all the picturesque beaches. Pet-loving campers who like to be active with their animals can choose from several pet-friendly campgrounds.

Biscayne National Park

Biscayne National Park has two campgrounds, both located on islands and accessible only by boat. Boca Chita Key features a waterside and grassy campsite area and Elliot Key has both waterside and forested camping sites along with marked hiking trails. Other activities include glass bottom boat trips, snorkeling and canoeing. Both campgrounds allow dogs, and a dog walk area is available.

Activities vary but may include sightseeing, swimming, fishing and golf. KOA campgrounds are pet friendly, but each has its own individual pet policy that may restrict your pet from certain areas of the campground.
