Resorts in Alexandria, Minnesota
More than 10,000 people live in western Minnesota's Alexandria, but the city's population burgeons in the summer as people travel to the area to take advantage of its lakes, trails and other recreational opportunities. The lakes have an especially strong draw to tourists, whether they want to canoe on them or just sit on the shoreline and watch the sun rise. Many of those who come to Alexandria stay at one of the city's resorts.

Arrowwood Resort and Conference Center

The resort also includes an indoor water park that includes slides and pools and covers 38,000 square feet. The resort itself offers more than 200 guest rooms. All guests have access to free wireless Internet. Arrowwood has both indoor and outdoor dining options, including a lakeside deck that is open during the summer.
