Go Kart Race Tracks in North Carolina

The North Carolina Parks and Recreation service offers organized outdoor activities that include hiking, biking and climbing. Environmental education programs are also available for inquisitive types. North Carolina features numerous manmade attractions as well as naturally occurring wonders. Those seeking a little something different on their North Carolina vacation should check out one of the state's many go kart courses.

Grand Prix Greensboro

Grand Prix Greensboro is an indoor go kart course in Greensboro, North Carolina. The course features all-ages race hours and extended evening hours for adults. The track includes 15 challenging turns to keep drivers on their toes. Birthday rooms, a meeting room and an arcade are all within view of the course. The minimum height restriction for riders is 48 inches and the maximum weight is 180 lbs. There are no exceptions to height and weight rules.

Victory Lane Karting

Victory Lane Karting allows guests to take a spin around the one-third mile, indoor go kart course. Drivers at Victory Lane ride in real racing carts that go up to 40 mph. Visitors can select from three track layouts to ensure an exciting ride every time. All drivers are required to sign a waiver prior to participating in a race. Children under 18 must have a custodial adult present to sign the waiver. All drivers under 18 ride in a specially designed youth cart that is set up for smaller statures and includes added safety features. Victory Lane can host events for up to 250 people.

Rush Hour Karting

Rush Hour racing is an indoor go kart track in Garner, North Carolina. The venue features numerous preplanned party and special event options. Racers at Rush Hour receive a comprehensive report after the race that lists statistics including average and highest race times for each driver. Private driving lessons are available. All junior racers must be at least 8 years old and no shorter than 48" to participate. Junior racing is available by appointment only. Food is available on the premises at the Rush Hour Tavern, which is suspended above the race track.
