Tortuguero National Park Tours

Tortuguero National Park Tours
Tortuguero National Park is one of Costa Rica's prime tourist destinations. The park's diverse ecosystems and rain forest are stunning any time of the year, but the best time to visit is during the turtle season, between July and October. Travel by boat to watch hordes of turtles hatching in the Costa Rican jungle. The majority of tours to the park and Tortuguero village depart from San José. If you have your own transportation, you can arrange tours by companies located in the village.

Costa Rica Expeditions

Costa Rica Expeditions specializes in custom-made itineraries. The company offers a two-day excursion from San José that includes flights, meals, one night at Tortuga Lodge and a guided tour of the park. 2009 to 2010 rates start at $378 per adult during low season. You can add extra days to your tour.
