DankHaus German American Cultural Center
Memorabilia, museum artifacts and the Legacy Multimedia Project make this cultural hub a catch. Be sure to go the third Friday of each month to meet members, eat German food and toast a pint of German beer. Entertainment includes ping-pong rivalries, live musical demonstrations and dancing. The event is scenically located outside on the Skyline lounge, weather permitting, with no cover fees.

The American Aid Society of German Descendants offers great ways to volunteer in the community, explore the city and suburbs and participate in the Steuben Parade in downtown Chicago.
