Franklin, Tennessee has a rich history and plenty of wonderful attractions for guests to enjoy. Guests can use the area park's walking trail or play a round of golf at the Forrest Crossings golf course. Guests can also explore one of the area's historic sites, shop or dine in downtown Franklin.

Hillsboro-Leipers Fork Recreation Center

The Hillsboro-Leipers Fork Recreation Center provides recreation facilities for the entire family. The center provides walking trails, a gymnasium, a playground and a fitness center. There is an admission cost of $3 for adults and children and $1 for guests 55 and over, as of December 2009. Admission fees apply to indoor facilities only.

Forrest Crossing Golf Course

The Forrest Crossing Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course that offers beautiful views of the Harpeth River. The course also features a practice area, complete with a 20 stall driving range and putting green.

Laser Chase

Laser Chase provides an active day of fun for the entire family. Laser Chase features a a jungle themed, 4,000 square foot arena and an arcade. Laser Chase's hours are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays. Admission is $5 per person. Rates and times are effective as of December 2009 and are subject to change. Laser Chase is also available for parties and special events.

Lotz House Museum

The Lotz House Museum is located in the center of Franklin, Tennessee. Signs of the Civil War Battle of Franklin, which took place on November 30, 1864, can still be spotted within the house's structure. Today, the house holds an impressive display of art and antiques for visitors to view. Guests of the Lotz House can also take Thomas Y. Cartwright's Battlefield Tour and step back in time to the Battle of Franklin. Private Battlefield Tour reservations can be made in advance. The Lotz House Museum is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
