Disneyland's California Adventure is a theme park that celebrates its home state, California. From the rocky waters of Grizzly River Run to the bright and colorful attractions of Paradise Pier, California Adventure gives guests a taste of California from yesteryear to today. Just mere feet from Disney's flagship theme park, Disneyland, guests can enjoy both parks with one of Disneyland's Park Hopper passes. Though the park is undergoing a massive overhaul as of 2009, the essence of the park will remain the same.
Grizzly River Run
This attraction's iconic rock peak is visible from most of the park, making it one of California Adventure's most recognizable images. The ride itself allows guests to embark on a tumultuous, wet ride through rocky canyons and steep rapids. Guests who want to enjoy the remainder of their day at the park without dealing with wet clothes might consider purchasing a poncho at one of the park's gift shops before taking the plunge.

After taking a seat in one of the theater's "gliders," the seats rise in the air, positioning guests in front of, above and below the theater's unique screen. It's Tough to Be a Bug combines 3-D storytelling with larger-than-life animatronics as guests are invited to discover what it's like to be a bug. As you enter the attraction, you'll receive "bug eye" glasses that turn the theater into a creepy, crawling wonderland. "A Bug's Life's" Flik leads your journey through the world of bugs. Things get complicated when Hopper, an oversized grasshopper with a bad attitude, takes the opportunity to teach the audience what it's really like to be a bug.
