Top Resorts in Jamaica
Jamaica is a tropical paradise island located in the Caribbean Sea. Visitors flock to this relatively small island to enjoy relaxing getaways. You can fish for trophy marlin, explore the wilderness in the Blue Mountains or lounge on the beaches after swimming in the warm waters of the sea. Accommodations on the island range from small hotels to huge high-story buildings. For the traveler who wants the best of everything, though, there are some top resorts offering decadent vacations.

Jamaica Inn classifies the Jamaica Inn as "...Jamaica's best resort." The resort's special amenities include balconies or patios with a sofa, writing desk and breakfast table, housekeeping service twice a day and the option to have breakfast on your patio. The luxurious 47 suites and cottages do not have TVs, radios or clocks so guests can enjoy peace and quiet. The accommodations do feature fine furniture, twin or king beds, ceiling fans, air conditioning and views of the bay or ocean. Cottages have garden tubs and four-poster beds; some are right on the beach. Jamaica Inn's facilities include a beauty salon, spa, swimming pool, exercise room, gift shop and a restaurant that serves a wide variety of gourmet food. You'll find no lack of outdoor activities at this resort, which provides free snorkeling, sunfish sailing, windsurfing and rafting on the Rio Grande. You can also take a mountain bike tour or eco-tour.
